OKAY SO I WATCHED EPISODE ONE OF MOTORCITY A WEEK AGO
And it was really dang pretty and I enjoyed it… visually… a lot… but every time someone talked it was like getting smacked upside the head with a reminder that I was watching Disney XD, and all that that implies.
So I guess my question is does it get less… written for ten year old boys? Like, okay, I have watched...

My issues with Wally and Artemis can be summed up in one word:
Fear
For a majority of their interactions in season one, they bring out each other’s fears in one way or another; they make each other’s insecurities worse.
And now that they’re together five years later?
They’re STILL bringing out each other’s fears. They’re just enabling fear of the worst together instead of apart.
