My friend Giancarlo produced Green Lantern the Animated Series, which aired it’s series finale this past weekend. This is my theory on what would have happened if there was another season.
EXCLUSIVE bonus scene from Green Lantern the Animated Series episode “Love Is A Battlefield”!
We’re entering the third week of our campaign to see Green Lantern: the Animated Series and Young Justice renewed, and now more than ever we need to recognize that we HAVE to keep the momentum up in the coming weeks. We need to show Cartoon Network and Warner Bros Entertainment that these last two weeks were not a fluke or a tantrum, that we love these shows and that we are not giving up. If they think we’ll just go away, that our attention and feeling is fickle, then they will not renew. We need to stay constant.
So: have you written Cartoon Network yet today? If you haven’t — and even if you have! — take a few minutes to send them a line at each of these four places:
- http://www.cartoonnetwork.com/feedback/index.html (Category: Programming, Topic: Other Shows)
- @CartoonNetwork (on Twitter) - use the hashtags #GLTAS, #YoungJustice/#YJ, and #DC_Nation
Not sure what to say? Tell them how much you loved the new episodes and how much you’re looking forward to new seasons. If you’ve bought the episodes off iTunes, mention that. Remind them that you’re here, that you love these shows, and that you’re supporting them every way you know how.
If you are able to please also send Cartoon Network’s Shop a request for Green Lantern and Young Justice merchandise — keychains, wallets, plush toys, t-shirts, etc. Show them that there is a market for these shows!
Remember: if we stick together and if we keep strong, then we can do this. Symbiosi: together. All will be well.
Heads up, DC Nation fans!
iTunes finally has GLTAS episodes “Loss” and “Cold Fury” up, $2.99 each in HD and $1.99 each in SD. Young Justice episode “Runaways” is up (same price), but “The Fix” is still missing.
Over on Amazon Video, “Loss” is available for GLTAS (but not “Cold Fury” — it’ll probably be up today or tomorrow, I’d imagine) and “The Fix” and “Runaways” are both up for Young Justice. Same prices: $2.99 each HD episode and $1.99 for each SD episode.
If you’ve the money, the inclination, and the ability, please do buy the episodes! We want to keep the pressure on Cartoon Network and the best ways to do that are to buy what they’re offering for GLTAS and YJ and to stay loud and active. After buying the episodes, won’t you send Cartoon Network a few, quick lines? Feedback page, Cartoon Network Facebook, DC Nation Facebook, Twitter.
