OKAY SO I WATCHED EPISODE ONE OF MOTORCITY A WEEK AGO
And it was really dang pretty and I enjoyed it… visually… a lot… but every time someone talked it was like getting smacked upside the head with a reminder that I was watching Disney XD, and all that that implies.
So I guess my question is does it get less… written for ten year old boys? Like, okay, I have watched a lot of shows with really questionable writing (I have seen literally every episode of the Lilo & Stitch TV series SHUT UP YOU DON’T KNOW MY LIFE I just love Jumba and Pleakley a lot, okay) so if the series just levels out at that level of cheesetastic I can totally deal. I’m fine with mindless brightly colored TV that is super metal.
But that said, I just kind of want to know what I’m getting into, and if I should just resign myself to corny dialogue and slog through for Evil Mark Hamill (I love all permutations of Evil Mark Hamill).
